၃၅ က်ပ္ျပန္ရျခင္း
လက္ရွိသုံးေနတဲ့ ဖုန္းလိုင္းက အရင္လက ၂၁လ ျပည့္သြားလို႔ သက္တမ္းထပ္တိုးလို႔ရၿပီ။(ဘိုလိုေျပာရရင္ contract ကို $100 တိုးေပးစရာမလိုပဲ renew လုပ္လို႔ရၿပီေပါ့ဗ်ာ။ ဤကား စကားခ်ပ္တည္း။)
ဒါေပသည့္ ရႈမၿငီးတဲ့ ခ်စ္ဇနီးရဲ႕ မ်က္ႏွာေတာ္ ၾကည္မယ့္ ရက္ကေလးကိုေစာင့္ရင္း ေနလိုက္တာ
တစ္ရက္ေတာ့ ဇနီးေလးက ဖုန္းဆက္လာပါတယ္။ သူ႔ရဲ႕ ဆိုနီအယ္ရစ္ဆင္ ဖုန္းေလး ဘာမွ မလာေတာ့ဘူးတဲ့။ ဒီေတာ့ ပ်က္ၿပီေပါ့ဗ်ာ။ဟီးဟီး။ ေပ်ာ္လိုက္တာ ကြ်န္ေတာ့္မွာ။
ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ရဲ႕ ႏိုကီယာ ေလးသူ႕ေပးၿပီး ကြ်န္ေတာ္က ဖုန္းအသစ္ေလ်ွာက္မယ္ဗ်ာ။ လူပါး၀တယ္ေနာ္။ :D
ဒီလိုနဲ႔ ေယာက္ဖႀကီးဆီ ဖုန္းဆက္ၿပီးခ်ိန္း။ ရံုးအျပန္ Tempines mall မွာ သြားၿပီး ဖုန္းအသစ္ေလွ်ာက္မယ္လို႔။ သူကလဲ စိတ္မပါလွပါဘူး။ အားၾကိဳးမာန္တက္ ေရာက္လာတာပဲ။
အမေတာ္ကေတာ့ မလိုက္လာေတာ့ဘူးေလ။(လိုင္းက သူ႔နာမည္နဲ႔ကိုး။ အဲဒါမွ discount ရမွာ)
အဲဒီမတိုင္ခင္ ၁ပတ္ ေလာက္က သြားေလွ်ာက္ဖို႔ လုပ္ေသးတယ္။ လိုခ်င္တဲ့ ဖုန္းမရတာနဲ႔ ျပန္လာခဲ့ရတာ။ ဒီတစ္ခါေတာ့ လိုခ်င္တဲ့ဖုန္းမရလဲ ဇနီးသည္ရဲ႕ ဖုန္းကပ်က္ေနၿပီဆိုေတာ့ ႀကိဳက္ႀကိဳက္မႀကိဳက္ႀကိဳက္ ဖုန္းတစ္လံုးကေတာ့ ယူရေတာ့မွာပဲဆိုၿပီး စိတ္မေကာင္းစြာနဲ႔ပဲ HTC Magic ေလး မလာခဲ့တယ္။ :D

ဖုန္းေလးပိတ္ၿပီး အိပ္ယာ၀င္လိုက္ပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ ရဲ႕ ေခ်းပံုေလးအတြက္ ကြန္ပ်ဴတာ ေမာ္နီတာ ေဘးက ကြက္လပ္ေသးေသးေလးမွာ မ၀တ္ေတာ့တဲ့ ေဘာလံုးေဘာင္းဘီေလးကို ျဖန္႔ခင္းၿပီ အပိုင္စားေနရာ ေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္။သမီးရန္ကလဲ ကာကြယ္ၿပီးသား ျဖစ္သြားတာေပါ့။

$78 ဆိုလားပဲ။ လူလဲ ဟိုက္ရွားပါး ဆိုၿပီး ထူပူသြားတယ္။ ဖုန္းမွာ login ၀င္ထားတဲ့ google account က auto synchronise လုပ္ေနတာေၾကာင့္တဲ့ဗ်ား။ wifi network မေတြ႔ရင္ GPRS ကိုသံုးၿပီးေတာ့ ခ်တာေပါ့။ ဒီကငတံုးက မသိဘူးေလ။
ဒီေတာ့ ဒီေတာ့ စဥ္းစားလိုက္တာ ရံုးက စီနီယာသမားလုပ္ပံုေလးသြားသတိရတယ္။
သူ iphone ကလဲ အဲဒီလို သူမသိပဲ network ကို သြားသြားခ်ိတ္ေနလို႔ bill လဲလာေရာ ၇၀၊၈၀ ေလာက္ ရွင္းရမလိုျဖစ္တာနဲ႔ starhub ကို ဖုန္းဆက္ၿပီး ေကာလိုက္တာ အဲဒီ data charges ေတြကို ေရွာ္ေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္တဲ့ခင္ဗ်ာ။ဟဲဟဲ မိုက္တယ္ေနာ္။
ဒီကေကာင္လဲ အတုျမင္အတတ္သင္ဆိုသလို starhub ကို ဖုန္းဆက္ၿပီး ငိုၿပလိုက္၊ ပိတ္ေယာက္လိုက္၊ ငါ့သူငယ္ခ်င္းတစ္ေယာက္လဲ ဒါမ်ိဳးျဖစ္ဖူးတယ္ဆိုတာနဲ႔ ၿခိမ္းေျခာက္လိုက္ လုပ္လိုက္တာ ဟဲ ဟဲ

ေနာက္ဆိုဘာျဖစ္ျဖစ္ ဖုန္းသာေခၚျပစ္လို႔ ေျမွာက္ေပး အဲေလ အၾကံေကာင္းဥာဏ္ေကာင္းမ်ား ေပးလိုက္ရပါတယ္။

My lovely daughter & my hard drive were sick together! part 2
Latey I was busy with other things and cannot continue part 2.
Let's carry on now.
One of the things I tried was change the power cable and SATA data cable, when I found out that my hard drive was not detected. Any lunck? nah.
So unplugged cables from DVD writer and plugged only HD. Anything? Nei. (this is called thway yuu thway tan lote thi)
So what should I do next?
I put a Linux Live CD, and browsed internet to find the solutions.
Wow! There were so many people having HD not detected or recongnised problem. Among them, one of the problems resembled to mine is firmware on that HD model.
So how can I update firmware of my HD?
I browsed Seagate website and looked for the support section.
Luckily, there was a Live chat. So I jumped into the chat and start answering the questions asked by a Seagate Technical Guy.
What he asked was Serial No which is to check whether the DRIVE is under warranty or not and about the situation. And what OS I was using.
These are the instructions given by the tech guy.
1. Check whether the drive is detected in BIOS? => No
2. Can feel the HD is spinning? => YES.
3. Have I tried my HD with another PC? => Not yet.
So he suggested me to try with other PC.
And also he suggested me to contact Seagate ASIA pacific region as he was from other region.
So I signed up at Seagate website and submitted my case.
At that night. I went to my brother's hosue and tried it. My HD was stillo not detected. Sigh!
When I got home and checked my email, I found out that Another guy from the Seagate had emailed and asked me about my HD serial No, the OS I used, and blah blah blah...
I emailed him back with the necessary info before I went to bed.
The next morning, I checked my email, That Seagate guy's new email said that my HD's problem may be because of a firmware problem, which most of the people complained over the internet. So what he would do was he would arrange a free pick up for my HD and do a firmware update.
If the firmware upgrade is working, then the drive would be returned to me. If the firmware upgrade doesn't work, they will do a replacement.
So a courier from Seagate contacted me to come and collect my HD.
What I need to provide was to pack my HD thorougly and pass it to him. My HD was already taken.
So far no news from them becasue they said that it would take up to 10 days. I just worried about my data. I should have backed up some important data. I hope it is not too late.
Regarding with Seagate, I feel that their service is nice although their drive is so fragile.
Now we, my wife and I, are using Ubuntu 24 hrs a day. haha.
My wife really hates Ubuntu but I finds that among linux live distros, Ubuntu is the best for family use except it used up more than half of my RAM, 3GB. That means I cannot download anything apart from installing flash, java and some video codec.
I hope to get back my data and it would be great if they do a replacement. hee hee.
So one thing I learn in Singapore, if something's wrong with what you have bought, just contact the vendor. In Singapore, Big vendors know how important their good service to customer is. Frankly people in Singapore are found to be fussy, at least for me, haha.
At the moment, still waiting for the good news from Seagate.

My lovely daughter & my hard drive were sick together! part 1
These days, don't know what's wrong with me.
Last Sunday night, my daughter was feeling unwell.
We just thought that it was normal.
So we didn't give her any medicines and let her sleep.
But my wife woke me up and told me that my daughter's fever is getting higher in the middle of the night.
So we gave her paracetamol liquid which was given by Poly clinics.
It was around 2,3 am when my daughter fall asleep, .
Morning came as usual but the difference was my daughter still got fever. And what worse is it was high.
She started threw up while she was lying between me and my wife looking at me.
She threw up a lot. IT seemed like she threw up all the milk she had drunk through out the night. And she poohed poohed. The smell was horrible. We felt something's wrong with her tummy.
It was horrible experience for us and she did scare us.
We were shocked and decided to see the doctor right away because we have never seen her threw up since she was born. She may throw up some milk when she was very young but not seriously.
And then we headed to the clinics after I have mailed my boss to request an Urgent Child care leave.
We went to the nearer clinics though my wife wanted to go to the farther clinics.
When we got there, there are only a few people so we thought that we could see the doctor in a short time.
But when we found out that our que no is 10, the doctor just started seeing the no 1 patient.
We cannot wait. so we said sorry to the clinics staff and went to the further clinics.
The second clinics was a bit far and we got to go through our old place. We could see some old memories.
When we got there, we check with the clinics staff.
One of the staffs came out and got my baby's temperature and she was shocked.
It was high, round about 39 'C. Normal room temperature is 35 to 36.
So the staffs re-arrange the que and we could see the doctor just after we arrived. That's why we went there :D
The doctor checked with us about what's wrong with our daughter. We explained about what happened to our baby, what she threw up, what she poohed poohed. What color of her pooh pooh was.
And then the doctor examined my daughter's body.
Finally he said it might be a gastric flu, some kind of virus make her sick, pooh pooh and threw up.
The doctor said we got to sprang her if the fever is very high.
We got to give one of the medicines she would be given us when the fever is still very high.
Because he was afraid that the sickness is disguised by H1N1 although the symptoms were different.
We could not feed her any normal food except my wife's breast milk and some gravy of porridge. (my wife is still nursing her though she is 1.5 years old)
Then we came back from the clinics. My daughter looks horribly weak.
For the whole day, what she could do was drink water, milk, and throw up and keep poohing.
Although we tried to feed her some gravy of porridge, she threw up from the first spoon feed.
She was so weak and couldn't move. When she was lying, she couldn't get up. Normally she is a kind of girl who runs back and forth in the house. And everyone who knows her agrees that her voice is very loud. But today our house was so silent.
But in the evening, my wife was breast feeding my daughter when I came into the room with my dinner in hand. My daughter saw me and started saying (mum mum which means rice in baby language of our language) so I quickly got out of the room.
but later she followed me crying and kept mumbling mum mum.
And I sensed that she re-gained her appetite and I could try porridge.
Then I let her sit on the chair and started feeding porridge.
She was happily eating the porridge and there was no sign of vomiting.
So I fed her as long as she wished. We relieved that that was a good sign of her recovery.
And her body temperature was down also.
then we went to bed and she seemed to be ok except poohing poohing.
my wife woke me up in the middle of the night and told me that my daughter's temperature was high again and she had poohed poohed.
So we got to get up, sponged her to cool down and changed her clothes, changed her daipers. (so far she has used almost 20 diapers during 2 days.)
and she seems to be hungry. So we fed her some porridge and she ate it. Good. And her body temperature was a bit cool down. One thing that i noticed is that our room is quite hot and outside is quite cooler than ours.
So I think room temperature contributed to my daughter's fever. So what I do was closed the windows, switched on the air-con and set the temperature at 28 'C.
Once room temperature was cool down, my baby started cool down and fall asleep. Of course she fell asleep while my wife was breast feeding her. Great!
Another morning came, I was waken up by the sound which my baby was slapping my wife's lap while she was drinking milk.
She looks quite ok. It was late to go to work. So I got to email my boss again to take a child care leave.
Through out the day, her body temperature was a not stable. But she could shout, she could sing, she could walk and she could get angry :P. Good that's what we want.
No threw up although still pooh pooh (green colour) strage ah!
She ate well today. One funny thing is the pipe we used to feed her medicine scared her.
She tried to turn her head or close her mouth tight when she saw that pipe.
But we got no choice, we gotta make her take the medicines.
Now my daughter's condition is stable and can see the improvement a lot.
If anyone wonders why I posted this post in English, because my hard drive is dead i think. (I am using Linux Live CD to go online.)
I will continue about my hard drive in next post.

ေသြးလွဴျခင္း
ရည္ရြယ္ထားတဲ့ အတိုင္းပဲ ဒီေန႔ ေန႔လယ္ပိုင္းမွာ ေသြးလွဴျဖစ္လိုက္တယ္။
ဘာမွမျဖစ္ပဲ ေခ်ာေခ်ာေမာေမာ ၿပီးသြားလို႔ ေတာ္ေသးတယ္ေျပာရမယ္။
အရင္တစ္ခါက စင္တာမွာ သြားလွဴေတာ့ ေသြးလွဴေနတုန္း ၿပီးခါနီးမွာမွ ဆရာမတစ္ေယာက္ ေရာက္လာၿပီး ေသြးပုလင္းကို လွႈပ္ေပးေနတဲ့ စက္က မလႈပ္ပဲ ရပ္ေနလို႔ဆိုလားဘာလားမသိဘူး။ေလွ်ာက္လုပ္သြားေရာ။
အဲဒါနဲ႔ပဲ ေသြးက မထြက္ေတာ့ပဲ ၿပီးခါနီးမွ ရပ္ေနလို႔ ေတာ္ေတာ္ ဒုကၡေရာက္လိုက္ေသးတယ္။
လက္ေမာင္းမွာ ထိုးထားတဲ့ အပ္ကို ဖိေပးေတာ့ နဲနဲေတာ့ထြက္ လာၿပီးေနာက္ဆံုး လိုခ်င္တဲ့ ပမာဏရမွပဲ အပ္ျဖဳပ္ရေတာ့တယ္။
ၾကားထဲက ၀င္ၿပီးလွ်ာရွည္သြားတဲ့ ဆရာမကို အစအဆံုး ကူညီေပးတဲ့ ဆရာမက ေဒါသေတြ ထြက္ေနေသးလို႔ ကိုယ္ေတာင္ ျငိမ္ေနလိုက္ရတယ္။ကိုယ္ပါေရာၿပီး ဆူသြားမွာစိုးလို႔။
